"De Novo" ist eine hypnotisierende Verschmelzung von Poesie und elektronischen Beats, eine auditive Reise, die Fantomacs in Zusammenarbeit mit Heidi Marlen Grau zusammengestellt hat. De Novo (Instrumental & Poetry versions)

Groovige drums und bass lines zu Beginn des Songs stimmen auf die folgenden synth, flute und sopran sax hook lines ein, die sich vielseitig abwechseln und den Zuhörer immer wieder überraschen mit neuen Varianten, bis es zu einem break mit plötzlichem High-pass Filtereinsatz kommt, gefolgt von einem längeren outro. 

In der Poetry-Version geht es um den "Aufstieg", wie Ehrlichkeit, Klarheit und Frieden die Welt ein Stück besser machen kann. Die angenehme Stimme von Heidi Marlen Grau führt den Zuhörer dabei gefühlvoll und bedacht durch die sich ändernde Welt.

Strawberry DUB

Diese Komposition wurde auf der brandneuen Fantom-O6 Workstation begonnen und später auf der Fantom-6 Workstation fertiggestellt. Der Song wird durch eine groovende Drum & Bass Figur eingeleitet, gefolgt vom Thema mit E-Guitar als hookline. Sopran Sax, Hammond Organ, (E)-Piano und Synth Phrasen sind dicht miteinander verwoben und verwöhnen das Ohr mit Abwechselungs- und Ideenreichtum.

So Pure (Poetry Version)

'So Pure' ist der Titelsong des dritten Albums und basiert auf groovigen Drums und Baselines, hier kommt jedoch ein eisiger Hauch mit knackendem Eis und klirrendem Wind hinzu, der fliessend in den ein wenig unheimlichen Text überleitet. Die "nackte Wahrheit" erwischt einen in dem Song "eiskalt" und läßt einen Schauer über die Haut gleiten. Hier findest Du ein Video zu diesem Song.

Rising Day

'Rising Day' ist ein chilliger Song des dritten Albums, der auf groovigen Drums und Baseline und eingängigen Synthie-Sounds basiert. Genieße und entspann einfach und laß' Dich in den Tag begleiten durch die sanfte Stimme von Heidi Marlen Grau.

Deepest Feelings

Groovende timpani drums, ein fetter synth bass und darüber harmonische hook lines - damit beginnt 'Deepest Feelings'. Verliere Dich in träumerischen und sphärischen synth und pan flute sounds, die sich gegenseitig in Dialog setzen und Dich verführen zuzuhören.

Into the Light (Poetry Version)

Dieser Song ist eine Poetry Version der Instrumental Version 'Into the Light', die komplett neu gemixt und gemastert wurde. Heidi Marlen Grau hat die Lyrics dazu geschrieben und selbst eingesprochen. Dabei geht es um tiefgreifende Gedanken, die aus den untersten Schichten des Bewußtseins an die Oberfläche emporsteigen. Laßt Euch einfach einfangen von diesen Gedanken und positiven Aussichten!

Die Harmonien des Songs basieren übrigens auf der japanischen Yo-Skala und der Groove involviert ein Cajon, das von einer tiefen Bassdrum begleitet wird. 

Dragon's Night

Das diesjährige Berner Lichterfest gab die Inspiration zu diesem träumerischen Song. Dabei stiegen riesige beleuchtete Drachen aus Papier in die Lüfte, drehten sich, flogen hinauf und stiegen wieder hinab und spieen scheinbar Feuer, begegneten sich mit anderen lichtdurchfluteten Drachen. Ein faszinierendes Spiel mit Licht, Farben und der Phantasie der Zuschauenden, das zum Träumen und Vergessen des Alltags einlädt. Virtual Scenery (Poetry Version)

Dieser beruhigende Song wird Dich entspannen, Dich in wunderbare Traumwelten entführen, dir ein beruhigendes und sensationelles Gefühl geben, Dich in die Musik einhüllen und Deine Seele heilen. Die Lyrics zu dieser neu gemixten und gemasterten Version hat Heidi Marlen Grau geschrieben und eingesprochen, die Dich "ins Schilf" in die romantische Zweisamkeit entführen.

De Novo (Instrumental & Poetry versions)

Groovy drums and bass lines at the beginning of the song set the mood for the following synth, flute and soprano sax hook lines, which alternate in a versatile way and surprise the listener again and again with new variations, until it comes to a break with sudden high-pass filter use, followed by a longer outro. 

The poetry version is about "ascension", how honesty, clarity and peace can make the world a bit better. The pleasant voice of Heidi Marlen Grau guides the listener soulfully and thoughtfully through the changing world.

This composition was started on the brand new Fantom-O6 workstation and later finished on the Fantom-6 workstation. The song is introduced by a grooving drum & bass figure, followed by the theme with e-guitar as hookline. Soprano Sax, Hammond Organ, (E)Piano and Synth phrases are tightly interwoven and spoil the ear with variety and ideas.

So Pure (Poetry Version)

'So Pure' is the title track of the third album and is based on groovy drums and baselines, but here an icy touch is added with cracking ice and clashing wind, which smoothly transitions into the somewhat eerie lyrics. The "naked truth" catches you "ice cold" in the song and lets a shiver slide over your skin. Here you can find a video to this song.

Rising Day

'Rising Day' is a chill song from the third album, based on groovy drums and baseline and catchy synth sounds. Just enjoy and relax and let the soft voice of Heidi Marlen Grau accompany you into the day.

Deepest Feelings

Grooving timpani drums, a fat synth bass and harmonic hook lines above - that's how 'Deepest Feelings' starts. Lose yourself in dreamy and spherical synth and pan flute sounds that dialogue with each other and seduce you to listen.

Into the Light (Poetry Version)

This song is a poetry version of the instrumental version 'Into the Light', completely remixed and remastered. Heidi Marlen Grau wrote the lyrics and recorded them herself. It is about profound thoughts that rise from the lowest layers of consciousness to the surface. Just let yourself be caught by these thoughts and positive outlooks!

By the way, the harmonies of the song are based on the Japanese Yo scale and the groove involves a cajon accompanied by a deep bass drum. 

Dragon's Night

This year's Bern Festival of Lights gave the inspiration for this dreamy song. On this occasion, huge illuminated dragons made of paper rose into the air, spun, flew up and descended again, seemingly spitting fire, meeting with other light-flooded dragons. A fascinating play with light, colors and the imagination of the spectators, inviting you to dream and forget about everyday life.
